The first hypermarket with Bulgarian goods will be placed at the site of the now closed "Carrefour" in Bulgaria Mall. The supermarket will be called ABO, which is an abbreviation of "agro, bio, organic" - which is the trademark of the project "The first Bulgarian hypermarket."
Governor of the contractor Alexander Vikliev commented that already has signed a lease for a period of 10 years. "We already have agreements with over 350 Bulgarian producers and expect the store to be operational in October." - Adds Vikliev.
About 3 years ago, a similar initiative was implemented in Gorna Oryahovitsa. Then the farmer Tcanko Tsanev buy Hali building in the city, restore it and turns in store for Bulgarian goods. The dream of Tsanev was precisely this - to create a store that can be offered only Bulgarian goods.
Unaware that the Ministry of Economy supports the idea of small and medium businesses, to create shops with completely Bulgarian products Tsanev makes the whole repair Hali alone. In his shop he sells pork, chicken and veal. Milk is delivered directly from farms, fish - from the reservoirs, and the wine is stored in barrels, of which everyone can pour himself as desired.
Besides all this, Tsanev managed to close the production cycle and deliver food levels it directly on the Bulgarian table. His firm is the first in Bulgaria to receive official permission to sell the product we produce.
The director of the Food Safety Agency, however, was skeptical about the idea of a farmer. He argued that he said the store would not be profitable for Bulgarian agriculture is not in its prime.
Obviously, however, was not right, because in addition to that store Tsanev thrive in our country to create more shops and supermarkets, which offer only Bulgarian goods.
