Christmas bonuses are taboo. You can not just go to your boss and you want. While you wonder if we'll ever get one in some companies they do not skimp from bonuses.
One of the largest private oil companies in the US - Hilcorp, will give all its 1381 employees 100 000 dollar Christmas bonus. This year Hilcorp was named one of the best places to work, the third consecutive year.
The reason for the huge bonuses achieved goal of the company - a five-year plan usdoyavane profits. In 2010. another company achieved its goal, which was doubling its size. Then employees could choose between a new car worth 50,000 dollars or 35,000 dollars in cash.
Amanda Thompson, who is receptionist in Hilcorp, says company owner Jeffrey Hildebrand is a great motivator. She is very happy and excited that with joint efforts, all were able to fulfill my dream results for the company.
Amanda explains that some employees will use the money to repair their homes, trips or to pay college kids, and some like it will just save them for a rainy day.
